Ingredients
  

Salad Ingredients

  • 2 large ripe tomatoes sliced
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves whole or torn

Seasoning & Drizzle

  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp balsamic glaze
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Slice the tomatoes and mozzarella into even rounds.
  • Arrange alternating slices of tomato and mozzarella on a plate.
  • Tuck whole or torn basil leaves between the slices.
  • Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic glaze.
  • Season with salt and pepper just before serving.

Notes

Use the freshest tomatoes you can find. Heirloom varieties add extra flavor and color.
